About Page

I’m Holly Pettit — a writer, theologian (M.Div.), and community deacon in New Hampshire.

My work explores progressive Christian spirituality, early Christian texts such as the Gospel of Mary, the Divine Feminine, and the intersection of faith with democracy and justice.

I write for people who are seeking a faith that is intellectually honest, spiritually grounded, and resistant to domination — especially in an era shaped by Christian nationalism and politicized religion.

Here you’ll find essays, devotionals, and reflections that move beyond cliché, connecting ancient spiritual traditions with contemporary cultural and political realities.

Think of this as a space where forgotten apostles challenge efforts to erase women from church authority, where the desert mothers rise above the noise of modern religious power struggles, and where often-dismissed ancient texts meet today’s hunger for authenticity.

In addition to writing, I offer seminars and guided resources for readers who want to go deeper.

Thank you for reading, and for being part of a community that believes faith can be earthy, relevant, and evolving.
